Speaker 2:So good. I got a women's ministry at home. My wife and four daughters and I kind of like to sing with them you know, it's just I just like to do it.
Speaker 2:Psalm 40, okay, one through five, and then 16 and 17. I thought today I would just read this amazing song, this ancient amazing song, and then we're going to sing it, and I just want to let the Holy Spirit just do what he wants to do in your life as we read and sing and pray through these amazing words. So Psalm 40, here we go, verse one I waited patiently for the Lord. I waited patiently for the Lord. He inclined to me and he heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog. He set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.
Speaker 2:Many will see in fear and put their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie. You have multiplied, o Lord, my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us. None can compare with you. I will proclaim and tell them. Yet there are more than could be told. But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad. May those who love your salvation say continually. Great is the Lord. As for me, I'm poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me.
Speaker 2:You are my helper, you are my deliverer. Do not delay. Oh my God, this is the word of the Lord. Let's just sing it back to him. I waited patiently for the Lord most high.
Speaker 3:Here we go. I waited patiently for the Lord most high. He turned his ear to me and he heard my cry. His thoughts, his thoughts and works for me are multiplied. Oh, I'm multiplied.

Speaker 3:You put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise. Set my feet upon a rock Out of the miry clay. Oh, you have raised me up. I stand amazed and my song will ever be your name. Song will ever be your name. Here we go. I waited patiently for the lord. He turned his ear to me. Hurt my cry. His thoughts, his thoughts, it works for me. A multiplied, oh, they multiply. You put a new song in my mouth. You put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise. Set my feet upon a rock out of a miry clay. Oh, you have raised me up. I stand amazed. I stand amazed and my song will never be your name. Your name is honey On my lips. Your name is vision For my steps. Your name is water to my soul, the sweetest name I've ever known.
Speaker 2:Here we go. Your name is honey on my lips, the sweetest name I've ever known.
Speaker 3:Here we go. Your name is honey on my lips. Your name is honey on my lips. Your name is vision for my steps. Your name is wandering to my soul, the sweetest name I've ever known. Heard a new song in my mouth, a song of praise. Set my feet upon a rock Out of the miry clay. Oh, you have raised me up. I stand amazed that my song will ever be your name. A song of grace. Set my feet upon a rock Out of the miry clay. Oh, you have raised me up. I stand amazed. And my song will ever be your name, your name, oh, your name, your name.
Speaker 2:Father, your name is like honey on my lips, it's like vision for my steps, it's water to my soul. It's the sweetest name I've ever known. You've set me upon a rock, pulled me out of the muck and the mire. I pray now, just we pray for that person who's right in the middle of the muck and the mire, that you would pull them out, set them on the rock, who is Jesus Christ, that you would save them and that your name to them would be sweet. And we pray this in his name, no ordinary name, the name that's above every name. In Jesus' name we pray Amen, amen. Thanks y'all for singing. Thanks, brother, sister, friend, for joining us with your voice, lifting your voice to him. He's given you a voice to praise him, to call out to him, and so thanks for bringing it. We'd ask you to bring it back. Tomorrow We'll be here. We're going to come with an open heart and we're going to see what God does in our lives. Have an awesome day of worship.
