Hey guys, shane here, and Shane, welcome to the Daily Blade. We are on day four of going through the Psalms this week. Let's go Today is a favorite, psalm 23, and we hope it blesses you. Right beside me all my days and I will dwell in your house forever, trust forever and bless your holy name. Real simple.

I'm not going to talk a lot today. I'm just going to read one verse and it's the chorus of this song, and I just am so grateful for one word in particular in this song. It might be, wow, one of my favorite words in all of the Bible Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all. Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life. And if it wasn't for that word, all I think I would be in a heap of trouble. Isn't that amazing? There's not. There's not like a microsecond in this life as God's kid that is minus or without his goodness and mercy, um, and that's. That's hard to believe sometimes, in the midst of all the things and the diagnoses and all the disappointments. But it is indeed a promise and we can take it to the bank. And so if you're in the valley of the shadow of death, know that his goodness and mercy didn't go away. It is right there. It is right there. It is right there, and that's just a helpful thing for me to remember.
